Niagara falls Barrel survivor dies from orange peel

Orange peel of Death

The second person to ever go down Niagara Falls in a barrel survived it. Later, he tripped on an orange peel and died.

Can you imagine doing such an extreme act only to lose your life in a silly incident?

As a matter of fact, what happened is Bobby Leach was the second person in the world to drop from Niagara falls in a barrel and survive (First one being Annie Taylor), He did spend around six months in a hospital to survive the injuries caused from the fall (which includes a broken jaw as well as broke knee caps).

in the late 20’s, while touring due to his success – Bobby slipped on an orange peel (some say it was a banana) and injured his leg – what later became infected. eventually his leg had to be amputated. Despite that happening in an attempt to save his life – he died two months after the complicated procedure.
